Uncoura Studios: Refund & Cancellation Policy

Overview

At Uncoura Studios, we pride ourselves on professional service and high-quality creative output. Because our work involves reserving time-sensitive slots and producing custom digital content, our policies are designed to protect both the creative process and our clients’ investments.

Please read the following carefully regarding bookings, deposits, and digital deliverables.

1. Deposits and Booking

  • To secure a date and time for a photo or video shoot, Uncoura Studios requires a deposit at the time of booking.

    • Non-Refundable: As we turn away other potential clients to reserve your specific time slot, all deposits are strictly non-refundable.

    • Booking Confirmation: Your session is not confirmed until the deposit has been paid.

2. Cancellations and Rescheduling

If You (The Client) Cancel: We understand that life happens. However, late cancellations result in a direct loss of income for our studio.

  • Cancellation: If you cancel your session, your deposit will be forfeited as a cancellation fee.

  • Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule, you must notify us at least [48 or 72] hours in advance. If proper notice is given, your deposit may be transferred to a new date (subject to availability) within [ 3 months].

  • No-Shows: Failure to arrive for your scheduled shoot without prior notice will result in the forfeiture of the deposit and may require full payment of the remaining balance.

    If We (Uncoura Studios) Cancel: In the unlikely event that Uncoura Studios must cancel a session due to equipment failure, photographer illness, or other unforeseen circumstances:

    • We will offer you Full Studio Credit equal to the value of your deposit/payments made, to be used for a future booking.

    • We will prioritize rescheduling your session to the earliest possible date.

3. Weather Policy (Outdoor Shoots)

For sessions scheduled outdoors:

  • If the weather is deemed unsuitable by the photographer/videographer (e.g., heavy rain, hazardous conditions), we will reschedule the session at no additional cost. The deposit will be transferred to the new date.

  • Cloudy weather is not considered unsuitable and is often preferred for lighting conditions.

4. Digital Goods and “Returns”

Unlike physical items, the photo and video services we provide result in digital files and intellectual property.

  • No Refunds on Delivered Content: Once images, videos, or digital files have been delivered (via download link, email, or drive), no refunds will be issued. The service is considered fulfilled.

  • Revisions: We want you to love your final product. Instead of a “return,” we offer [ 1 or 2] rounds of revisions for video edits or photo retouching to ensure satisfaction.

  • Quality Guarantee: If there is a technical error on our part (e.g., corrupted files), we will re-edit or re-shoot the specific content at no cost to you.

5. Payment Terms

  • The remaining balance of your package is due [Choose one: on the day of the shoot / prior to the delivery of final files].

  • Final edited assets will not be released until the invoice is paid in full.

 

6. Gift Cards

  • Gift cards or gift certificates purchased for Uncoura Studios are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

  • They are valid for [ timeframe to be indicted on the Gift Card] from the date of purchase.

 

Previews and Final Delivery: Uncoura Studios may provide watermarked, low-resolution preview galleries for client review and selection. High-resolution, unwatermarked final assets will strictly not be released until the final invoice is settled in full.
